  • 2 time First Point/NEC Defensive player of the week 1/21/25, and 4/14/25
  • Played in 77 sets through 22 contests 
  • Recorded 174 digs and 54 assists
  • Season high 16 digs vs. LIU on 03/22/25
  • Led NEC in digs per set (2.26) 
2023-24
  • Appeared in 77 sets over 27 matches
  • Logged 55 assists and 175 digs
  • Ranked third in the NEC and eighth nationally in digs per set at 2.27
  • Logged his 500th dig career against Merrimack on 03/23/24

2021-22
  • Member of first-ever Knights' men's volleyball team
  • Finished third overall and the highest ranked freshman in NCAA Division I-II in digs per set (2.80) leading FDU with a total of 228 digs in 23 matches played
  • Named to the Second Team All-Independent by Off the Block following the 2022 campaign, was the lone libero selected
  • Posted a season-best 21 digs in FDU's four-set win over Alderson Broaddus in the IVA Tournament on April 22
  • Off the Block All-Americans of the Month (February 2022) awarded for double-digit digs in five consecutive matches in the month.
  • Off the Block National Libero of the Week (announced February 28, 2022) following 37 digs in a two-match series sweep of Alderson Broaddus and 12 digs against George Mason.  
Prior to FDU
  • Started and served as captain for both his high school team at Palos Verdes and club team, Team Rockstar
  • Earned 2019 Varsity Defensive Player of the Year honors
  • Member of the 2019 USA Volleyball A1 National Training Program playing alongside some of the best players in the nation
  • Gold medalist at the 2018 USA Volleyball A2 National Training Program
  • Part of teams that included top five finishes in Boys Junior National Championships from U14-17 seasons
Personal
  • Parents are Heidi and Erin Hoffman
  • Has a brother, Ethan, who attends USC
  • Mother (Heidi) was a practice team tennis player and soccer walk-on at Stanford
  • Enjoys fantasy football, beach volleyball and adventuring
  • Spent time coaching, working at a local restaurant, and volunteering at a local hospital
  • Competed in the 21st Maccabiah Games in Israel for US men's open volleyball team 
  • Intends to major in sports management
