2018: Made 10 relief appearances as a sophomore ... Pitched 19.1 innings and struck out eight batters while recording a 5.79 ERA ... Tossed 3.2 innings against Santa Clara (3/17) in longest outing of the season ... Threw two scoreless innings with two strikeouts against Sacred Heart (4/22) ... Struck out season-high three batters against Saint Francis U (5/7) in final outing of the season.

2017: Appeared in 17 games and made two starts in the circle … Posted a 1-4 record with a 6.93 ERA over 33 1/3 innings … Got lone win as part of a shutout of Stony Brook (4/28) … Also struck out a season-best four batters versus Stony Brook.

Prior to Fairleigh Dickinson: Herrera was a second team all-league performer in 2016 for Kaiser … Helped Kaiser finish in a tie for second in the Sunkist League in 2016 with a 10-5 record and reach the wild card play-in game of the 2016 CIF Southern Section Playoffs.
