HACKENSACK, N.J. – Director of Athletics David Langford and the Fairleigh Dickinson softball program have announced the hiring of Chris Foye as the sixth head coach in program history.
 
Foye was most recently an assistant coach at NYU last season where he assisted with all facets of the Violets' program. NYU went 19-19 a season ago. 
 
"I am very excited to have this opportunity to lead the Fairleigh Dickinson program," said Foye. "I want to thank David Langford, Stacey Recanati and the search committee for allowing me to lead this program into the future."
 
Foye was previously a head coach at Felician University from 2014-16 where he led the Golden Falcons it is winningest conference season in program history in 2015 with a 14-12 record.
 
The South Orange native has also spent time on staff at Montclair State (2012-13), Seton Hall (2011-12) as an assistant and at the College of St. Elizabeth (1997-2001) as the head coach of Eagles. At the club level, Foye served as the co-head coach of the Heist U18 Elite.
