FDU's first test of the weekend will be No. 65 Princeton (3-3), a team that beat the Knights, 7-0, a season ago. So far this season, the Ivy League school defeated Western Michigan, 5-2, and No. 40 Michigan State, 4-3, on the road. The Tigers also took down No. 59 Dartmouth, 4-1, at the ECAC Tournament.
Their losses are to No. 20 Michigan and No. 42 Columbia and No. 47 Harvard.
The Tigers' top player, Matija Pecotic, is 30-4 overall this season and is ranked No. 3 in the nation for singles.
Sunday's opponent Saint Peter's enters the weekend carrying a 1-6 record, including a 0-4 mark this spring.
The Peacocks' lone win of the season came Oct. 27 at Rider, 6-1. This spring Saint Peter's has fallen to NJIT, Fairfield, Sacred Heart and Saint Francis University.
FDU made quick work of the Peacocks in their match last spring in Teaneck. The Knights won all three doubles matches then followed up by winning all six singles matches in straight sets.
Following the Saint Peter's match, FDU will head to New Haven, Conn. for the Yale Round Robin. During the two days of action March 2-3, the Knights will face Yale, Marist and Stony Brook.
