Day One Results

Senior Zacharia Ahmed (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown) was the lone competitor to compete for the Fairleigh Dickinson track and field team in day one of the Metropolitan Championships Thursday, Jan. 26, placing eighth in the weight throw at Manhattan College in Riverdale, NY.

Ahmed's fourth attempt sailed 14.01m (45'11.75”) to secure eighth place out of 19 student-athletes in the weight throw on the day.

The remaining competition will take place at the Armory in New York, NY on Friday, Jan. 27, beginning at 4 p.m.
