Jared Stephans begins his sixth season on Tom Green’s staff as an assistant coach and his ninth season working with the Fairleigh Dickinson University men’s basketball team.

He served as Student Assistant Coach and then Graduate Assistant from 1998 through the 2001-02 season.

Along with his on-court coaching duties, Stephans is responsible for recruiting, scouting, individual and team practices, monitoring academic progress and directing Tom Green’s Basketball Camps.

Stephans was a representative and assistant for The Hoop Group and was a head coach for the Jersey Shore Cyclones AAU teams.

After being a member of the men’s soccer team as a freshman and sophomore at Fairleigh Dickinson, Stephans joined the Knights’ golf team as a junior. He graduated in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and also earned his MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson in 2002. Stephans currently resides in Hackensack, NJ.
