Fairleigh Dickinson University women's bowler Erica Perez has looked everything like a three-time All-American of late.  On her way to a second-consecutive NEC Bowler of the Week selection, the New Jersey native posted a team-high 20.44 frame average at the Jeannette Lee Invitational, where Fairleigh Dickinson captured its first tournament title since last year's inaugural NEC Championship. Perez, who rolled 62 strikes in 126 chances, claimed the Jeannette Lee Tournament MVP award.

FDU's senior anchor left only 11 opens in the 100 frames she bowled at the 20-team tournament.  The right-handed bowler earned the starting nod in 11 consecutive matches as the Knights put up a 10-1 record in their annual appearance at the Richmond-based event.

Leading FDU to a perfect 6-0 record on the first day of the competition, Perez compiled the highest traditional game average (207.17) of any individual competitor at the tournament.  Her team-best .890 filled frames percentage, which spanned both the traditional and baker play portions of the meet, nearly matches the .897 mark she accounted for during Fairleigh Dickinson's second-place showing at the UMES Hawk Invitational her last time out.
