Freshman Zacharia Ahmed (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown) and sophomore Nik Berisha (Bronx, NY/Mount St. Michael) represented the Fairleigh Dickinson University outdoor track & field team at the University of Pennsylvania Relays, Friday, April 24 in Philadelphia. 

Ahmed registered a 14.37-meter effort in the shot put.  Berisha fouled out on his three chances.

Fairleigh Dickinson is next in action at the two-day Northeast Conference Championships, starting on Saturday, May 2.  Monmouth University is hosting the event in West Long Branch, NJ.

Prior to that, Reyon John (Buccoo, Trinidad & Tobago/Singnal Hill) will be the only FDU student-athlete competing on Sunday, April 26 at the Yale University Springtime Invitational in New Haven, CT.  The senior will enter the 100m.
