Senior Sean Baptiste (North Brunswick, NJ/St. Josephs of Metuchen) was named Choice Hotels Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week, released by the league on Monday afternoon.

In leading the third place Knights in a series sweep of Monmouth last week, Baptiste averaged 25.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and shot 61.3 percent from the floor.  He hit 11-16 shots from the field and finished with 27 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-69 home victory over the Hawks on Thursday.

Baptiste then notched his eighth 20-point game of the season on Saturday, netting a game-high 24 points - including a pair of key free throws with 14 seconds to play - to go along with six boards as FDU secured a 71-65 road triumph in West Long Branch.  

Baptiste, who hails from North Brunswick, NJ, leads all scorers in NEC games with 18.9 ppg and is seventh overall with 15.6 ppg.  He also ranks 13th in the conference with 6.8 rpg.
