On his way to a second Road Runner Sports NEC Rookie of the Week honor, the freshman took second in the 1000-meter run at the NYC Gotham Cup.  His runner-up time of 2:27.83 qualified the Ruesselsheim, Germany native for the IC4A Championships, which are set for March.
