The Fairleigh Dickinson University men's golf team tied for seventh in the nine-team Lincoln Mercury Intercollegiate, hosted by Seton Hall University at Fiddler's Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ on October 17-18. After getting through only five holes on Saturday, the tournament was halted and completed on Sunday.

Keith Downey (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) led the Knights, finishing with a 151 (75-76) to tie for seventh overall, while Rob Cerabone tied for 18th, carding a 155 (79-76).

Andrew Nedzinski (DuBois, PA/DuBois Central Catholic) shot 163 (84-79), Greg Parzych turned in a 165 (81-84) and Rick Buck had a two-day total of 171 (82-89).
