Holzwarth Leads Women's Golf on First Day of Rutgers Invite

The Fairleigh Dickinson University women's golf team opened competition at the Rutgers Invitational, held in at the Rutgers University Golf Course in Piscataway, NJ. The two-day event hosts 18 teams.

Michele Holzwarth (/) led the Knights, carding a 73, while Lisa Warrilow (Gnosall, Stafford, UK/) turned in an 83. Lauren Chapman (Haddam, CT/) fired an 85, while Jessica Benoit (Lee, NH/) and Eva Mayr (Schwendi, Germany, /) each shot rounds of 87.

The Knights will continue competition at the Rutgers Invitational with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start on Saturday, October 10.
